I am Marine Priest, a painter deeply inspired by nature and the world of birds, which I particularly love to represent.
Animals have held a special place in my life since childhood. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, and horse riding allowed me to develop a unique bond with horses.
But it is the birds, passed down through my father’s love of ornithology, that have always held a special place in my heart.
I love the beauty of their plumage, the brilliance of their colors and the delicacy of their feathers, which constantly nourish my inspiration.
For more than ten years, I have been creating with dry pastels, a medium that allows me to reveal the softness, light and vibrant colors of my subjects.
I find in it the necessary precision to do justice to the looks, textures and emotions that pass through our companions.
Today, I create commissioned portraits of your animals – cats, dogs, horses and birds – with a particular affection for birds, which are always at the heart of my artistic approach.
Through my works, I seek to capture the beauty of a moment, the presence of a companion, and the poetry that lies hidden in every living being.
